Hello all, I'm currently a senior in high school and looking at colleges. here are my two options. go to a college that offers computer security and information assurance ( www.hilbert.edu/academics/majors/eci). This is more security based but also focuses on criminal justice which I'm not a huge fan of. my second option is get a degree in cis here ( www.buffalostate.edu/cis/x657.xml?bpid=53). this program is very broad but covers a lot. I don't know exactly what career I would like to persue in security but which would be better? I'd probably need more certificates with the cis degree right? someone who currently works in securitys opinion would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
