I have been ddosed occasionally by my friend's,It is very annoying to me..
I don't have money to buy a Hardware fire-wall
Is there any virtual fire-walls available for packet filtering?
so that i can filter unwanted packets and their ip
I am using xp operating system...

I am looking for some packet filtering and ip banning solutions..

Is this possible?
Hope i will get some help here....

firewall wont help you if you are getting DOS correctly ... change IP number or ISP's and use a secure proxy when talking to your 'friends' so they don't dos you anymore..

I Know to use vpn,I am looking for a packet filtering and ip filtering solutions
IS there any available?

it is mentioned that it can filter ip's ,and it can be used in 2003,xp operating systems.
is it possible?.. can the software able to stop a ddos attack in windows ?
