[size=18]Does any attack on a Application Server or the Web application or the database system leave any trace on the Operating System. Is there any evidence that can be gathered from the operating system, any illicit activity performed by the attacker.

What evidence related to the application server or the database or the web application be gathered from the operating system.

I will be very grateful if a professional forensics guy answers this question.

Noooooo.... Not at all... I am doing my M.Tech Dissertation in Operating System and Network forensics and I need the answer to this question as I could proceed further in the way.

If you know the answer to this question then tell me or else thank you.....
